• 1 c. sugar

    1/2 c. butter or margarine

    2 eggs

    2 bananas

    1/3 c. milk

    1 tsp vanilla

    2 c. all purpose flour

    1 tsp baking powder

    1/2 tsp salt

    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Grease bottom or a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
    3. In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter/margarine until light and fluffy.  Beat in eggs.  Blend in milk and vanilla.
    4. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.  Mix well.
    5. Add 1/4 of the flour mixture to sugar/butter mixture.  Add 1/2 of a banana to mixture.  Alternate between adding flour and bananas until all ingredients are combined.
    6. Pour into prepared pan.
    7. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.  Cool in pan for 5-10 minutes.  Remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
    8. If not consuming, wrap and store in the refrigerator.
